Sergio Lozano provided the design idea of Air Max 95 when he worked on Nike ACG categories in the mid-1990s.It was to create larger running shoes with superior performance that provide effective touchdown protection and high level cushioning.
Air Max 95 is inspired by the human body: the shoelace system is like ribs, the spine is outsole, and the mesh and turnover fur uppers represent muscle fibers.Using faux furs to create layered vamp structures, with stitching and compression molding designed to provide excellent support without sagging over time.
The upper of Air Max 95 is covered with mesh fabric, which is breathable in the original design. Combined with Air Max 95's "speed-lacing" perforation design, the color matching of the wearer's shoes from the upper to the insole is the same iconic element as the shoe design inspiration.
